Terry McLester Obituary
Terry Wayne McLester, a resident of Ashford, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at a local hospital. He was 64.
Terry was born in Dothan on February 12, 1957 to S. A. and Annette McLester. He grew up in Dothan and lived most of his life there before moving to Ashford. Terry earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Troy. He worked for Georgia Pacific for 10 years where he loved his work and the people he worked with. Terry was a hardworking family man who loved fishing, riding down country roads, spending time with his family and was a diehard Alabama football fan. He had the biggest heart and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. Terry was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, S.A. McLester; brother, Scott McLester; and sister, Pat Key.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 10 years, Nancy McLester; daughters, Shea (Andy) McGill and Michele (David) Garrett; son, Travis (Gemma) Bolling; grandchildren, Riley McGill, Alex McGill, Audrey Garrett, Luke Garrett, Preston Bolling and Trevor Bolling; mother, Annette McLester; brother Tony (Teresa) McLester; and his K-9 companions, Jack and Sissy.
