Terry was the beloved husband of Carolyn Hall for an impressive 62 years. Together, they raised a family that includes their son, Bruce Hall, and daughter, Belinda Thomason (John Judah). Terry was a proud grandfather to Jason Atkinson and Maddy Hall and an even prouder great-grandfather to Jayden Atkinson and Harper Smith. Terry's working life was as diverse as his interests. He served his community as a police officer, a role that demonstrated his commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others. Later, he became a truck driver for Old Dominion, where he retired after many years of dedicated service. His work ethic was unparalleled, and his contributions to his community will be fondly remembered.
Terry was a simple man who found joy in life's simplest pleasures. He was a lover of chocolate and old cars and had a great fondness for the tranquility of riding dirt roads. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time on the boat, where he found peace and relaxation. His green thumb was evident in his love for gardening, a hobby that brought him much satisfaction and pleasure.
Terry's love for his dogs, Farrah and Buddy, was undeniable. Their companionship brought him immense joy and comfort. He was also a man who loved to keep his hands busy, always tinkering with something around the house. His camping trips were legendary, filled with laughter, stories, and the occasional wrestling match on TV, a pastime Terry thoroughly enjoyed.
