Shirley Fay (Dean) Marshall

Shirley Fay Marshall, 80, of Midland City, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, after a brief illness.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, January 16, 2022, in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-2 pm.

Ms. Shirley was a devoted wife and mother. Her faith in Christ never wavered. Her family was her world and she enjoyed being outside working in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Ethel Dean; her husband, Charles Edward Marshall; her 3 sisters, Hilda Grantham, Monette Hayes, and Betty King.

She is survived by her son, Charles Allen Marshall; her sister Omega Ward; and many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Steve Grantham, Jimmy Grantham, Adam Faulk, and Andrew Faulk.
