His dedication to service was a testament to his character, forever putting others before himself.
Sean was a loving family man, survived by his wife, Nancy; his son, D. J. (Katie); his daughter, Justine Tew; and his granddaughter, Jade; his godchildren, Caleb Morris and Morgan (Kaleb) Knight, and their daughter, Maggie Beth. Sean's interests were as varied as they were numerous. He was a great father who taught his son to play baseball and supported him throughout his baseball career. From high school tournaments to coaching at American Legion World Series, and especially Post 70 games, Sean was a proud and constant figure in D. J.'s life. He was an avid basketball player and participated in the Punt, Pass, and Kick event. Sean was also a doting grandfather to his three-year-old granddaughter, Jade, cherishing every moment spent with her.
A big-hearted Alabama native, Sean was a BIG Roll Tide Fan. His friendly nature and love for conversation led him to keep up with everyone, family and friends, talking for hours on the phone. He loved working out with D. J. in the gym and took great pleasure in the simple joys of life.
Sean was best described as adventurous, friendly, and selfless. His adventurous spirit led him to serve his country and explore the world. His friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure in his community, and his selflessness was evident in his dedication to his family and fellow veterans.
