Martha Ann (Jones) Myers

Martha Ann Myers, a resident of Dothan, AL, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at her residence. She was 67 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, September 16, 2022 in Sunset Funeral Home with Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Martha was born on August 24, 1955 in Graceville, Florida. She was employed with Dothan City Schools at Northview High School for 30 years as a TMR Aid. She loved her work and her "youngins" she cared for. She could always be found with a camera in her hand capturing all of their special moments. Martha and her husband enjoyed taking all the children fishing. She cherished time with her family and friends.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Wayne, and Carolyn Jones; son, Donnie Ray Myers; and brothers, Donald Jones and Mike Jones.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry Jackson Myers; son, Steve Myers; daughter, Peggy Craig; grandchildren, Jessica (Dexter) Myers, LaRiko (Elizabeth) Jones, Krista (Jaquarte) Craig and Chrishawn Craig; great grandchildren, Mikayla, Ty'Shawn, Kh'Marri, Jamarion, Dexy, Traison and Mavrik; one great great grandchild, Ju'Naeya; and her siblings, Billy (Gail) Jones, Patsy (Gerald) Andrews, Jimmy (Wendy) Jones, Lisa Barnes, Vickie (Ricky) Stephens, and Irene (Mike) Yeager.
