Marie D'Alesio Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marie T. D'Alesio on March 16th, 2023, at the age of 86. She was surrounded by family, including her husband of 67 years, John D'Alesio, as she peacefully went to be with the Lord.
Marie was a deeply religious woman who embodied love and kindness, and who sadly lost two sons and a grandson before her, yet still managed to find joy in life and loved everyone she encountered. Her infectious smile and warm personality made her loved by all, and she never knew a stranger.
Marie's legacy will live on through her family, who will always remember her love, warmth, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Marie is survived by her husband, John; her daughter, Donna Harding and spouse Greg; her sons, Ed and Ray and their spouses, Margaret and Martha; her daughter-in-law Adria as well as twenty-four grandchildren and great children; her five loving brothers, Larry, Frank, Andy, Joe and Gene; her five loving sisters-in-law, Cathy, Kathy, Barbara, Bobbie and Eva, as well as countless nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Rest in peace, our dearest Marie. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie will be held at 11am on April 22nd, 2023 at St. Columba Catholic Church in Dothan, Alabama. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park at a later date.
