Born on July 21, 1947, in Texas, Lute lived a life full of adventure, kindness, and selflessness, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Lute Thomas Renshaw, Sr. and Margaret Ann Renshaw; his devoted wife of many years, Susan JoAnn Renshaw; and by his daughter, Sarah Louise Renshaw. He is survived by his children, Tom Renshaw (Sabrina), Rebecca Ann Brooks, and John Samuel Renshaw (Nafiisah). He was a beloved grandfather to Kyle Brooks, Sara Brooks, Lucius Renshaw, Margaret Lee Renshaw, Abigail Grace Renshaw, and Catalina Susanna Renshaw.

Tom was an alumnus of Washington State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. Tom was a proud Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served with the "World Watchers". His service to his country didn't end there, as he was also deployed to the Gulf War. His dedication to his country was unwavering, and his experiences shaped him into the resilient and compassionate man he was known to be.
