Karin Erma (Klauhammer) Phillips

Karin Erna Phillips has entered heaven on 1/1/2022. She was 73. Born in Minden, Germany to Anna and Herman Klauhammer who immigrated to this country in 1958 and lived in Elgin, Illinois. Karin was loved and admired by her family, friends and co-workers. Music, painting, crafts and working in the flower gardens brought her joy. She leaves behind to grieve; her son Pete (Michelle) Phillips, granddaughter Morgan (Logan), daughter Stacy (Gene) Martin and grandson Tyler (Heather), all of which held a special place in her heart. Karin walked into heaven to meet her parents, sister, grandparents, several aunts and many beloved pets. Death takes her body. God takes her soul. Our mind holds the memories. Our heart keeps the love.
Mother, My faith lets me know we will meet again, until then I will miss you every time I hear one of your songs, see a white puppy, feel homesick, smell salt water, see Spanish moss… so many memories, thank you for that!
