Obituary

Mr. James Cleveland Weaver, age 92, of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023.

The family will be accepting friends for a visitation on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10am-11am. A graveside service with military honors held at 11am on Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park.

James was born on May 5th, 1930, to Cleve Daniel and Hattie Loue Weaver. He served 10 years in the United States Navy and served in the Korean War. James loved the Lord, and was a devoted husband, father, and friend.

James is survived by his wife of 7 years, Susan Olivia Weaver of Dothan, Alabama. He had four daughters and one stepson, Cynthia Gayle Huff (Robert), Deborah Lou Kirk (Eddie), Sheri Lynn Stevens, Lisa Ann Silvey, and John Marc Vaughn (Jessica). James had nine grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Lillie Mae Weaver, one son, James Randall, one daughter, Laura Sue, and one son in law, Greg Stevens.
