Catherine (Fluker) Williams

Catherine Flucker Williams, a resident of Dothan, departed this life on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at her home. She was 91 years old.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Craig Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 am.
 
Catherine was born in Henry County on December 22, 1930 to the late Johnnie James Flucker and Eloise Flucker. She was married to the late Johnny Robert Williams on December 25, 1948, and from this union five children were born. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed making quilts.
 
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie James, and Eloise Flucker; two sisters, Ella Mae Frazier, and Ida Mae McKay; one brother, James W. Flucker; her husband, Johnny Robert Williams; two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Salter and Spencer McKay; and one grandson, Ron Jackson.
 
She is survived by her children, Thelma L. Williams, Mary C. Williams, Willie Frank Williams, all of Dothan, AL, James Robert (Gloria) Williams of Headland, AL, and Vikki Miller of Foley, AL; her grandchildren, Lakisha Williams Davis (Keith), Shani Miller, Rashad D. Grimsley, and Jackie White-Greenwood (Reggie); seven great-grandchildren;  one brother-in-law, Johnny (Dorothy) Butts; seven brothers, Robert (Liz) Flucker, Frank (Joyce) Flucker, JT (Mary Dell) Flucker, Johnny (Candice) Flucker, Rheinmarvon Flucker, Joe Lewis Flucker, and Kenneth E. Flucker; one sister, Tommie Kaye Salter; goddaughters, Tinnie Owens, Ella Sistrunk, Bessie Mitchell, Lela Knight, and Jeanie Spann; and a host of extended family and friends.
 
Serving as pallbearers will be James Robert Williams, JT Flucker, Joe Flucker, Willie Frank Williams, Keith Davis, and Thomas Jones.
