Carol Lee Joiner

Carol Lee Joiner, 75, was born on October 11, 1946 to the late John E. And Christine Lee from Clay County, Georgia. She departed this life on August 3, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at her second home in Pinckard, Alabama.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Shannon Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Carol was a 1964 graduate of Calhoun High School in Edison, GA. She retired from Regions Bank in Cuthbert, GA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Joiner; her brother, John Lee, Jr.; and her sister, Louise Shiver.

Survivors include her two daughters, Dawn (Gary) Hardwick of Fort Gaines, GA and Diane (Garret) Daniels of Pinckard, AL; her grandchildren, Caleb (Ru) McCalla of Dallas, GA, Ashleigh Jimenez of Fort Gaines, GA and Caitlin (Trey) Jones of Weston, GA; her great-grandchildren, J.J. (Taylor Flowers) Jimenez, Paige Jimenez and Jayden Jimenez of Fort Gaines, GA, Kaia Simpson of Dallas, GA and Brock Jones of Weston, GA; her sister, Winnie LaChance of Florida; her brother, Fred (Kay) Lee of Leary, GA; her beloved Joiner family, Rodney, Misty, Meredith and Maggie Joiner of Edison, GA and Teri, Jeff and Will Miller of Pineview, GA; her special canine, Dixie; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
