Obituary

Blade Dominick Corley, a resident of Cottonwood for most of his young life, passed away following a motorcycle accident in the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was 18 years old.

Blade was the son of Larry Corley, Jr. and Amber McKee and was born on December 28, 2003 in Dothan but lived in Cottonwood for most of his life. He was a 2022 graduate of Cottonwood High School and was employed with Rural King and Walmart, but currently was working with Shwinco Architectural Products. Blade was passionate about riding motorcycles and enjoyed working on them in his spare time. He loved playing paintball with his family and friends. Blade was a wonderful, kind son, brother, and friend to all who knew him. He will be terribly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Larry (Denise) Corley, Jr.; his mother, Amber McKee; his sister, Caydence Corley; his step-sister, Addylei Bland; his grandparents, Larry (Gail) Corley, Sr. and Jim McKee; and many friends and extended family also survive.
