Wayne Rex Maddox

Wayne was born on August 27, 1945 to the late Rex and Luna Maddox in Opp, Alabama. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. He was a Vietnam veteran, where he served three tours and was wounded twice. Wayne moved to Dothan in 1990 and was a member of DAV Chapter 87. He was also a member at Pathway Baptist Church. Wayne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara "Bobbe" Maddox; his son, David (Michelle) Maddox; his stepson, Mark (Jackie) Sexton; his daughter, Tammy (Tim) Collum; his step-daughter, Laura (Erik) Helmstetter; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his brother, David (Sherri) Maddox; two nephews; and one niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to Pathway Baptist Church, 3551 Flowers Chapel Road, Dothan, AL 36305.
