Thomas Gene Hallford, Sr., age 68, of Ozark, Alabama, passed away on August 7, 2026. He was born on August 27, 1957, in Midland City, Alabama.

Thomas was a hardworking man who took pride in his career as a long-haul truck driver and was known for his determination, honesty, and willingness to help others.

Above all, Thomas loved his family. He is survived by his sons, Thomas Hallford, Jr. and John Hallford; his daughters, Christina Baughman (Tye), Crystal Meeks (Austin), and Cassie Yi (Savy); 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as his 4 siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Gene and Flossy Mae Hallford.

Thomas had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was dependable, kind, and the type of person who would give the shirt off his back for someone in need.

In his free time, Thomas enjoyed deep sea fishing, cheering on Auburn and the Falcons, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed the simple moments in life, especially those shared with the people he loved.

Thomas will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, love for his family, and the kindness he showed to others. He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and many cherished memories that will remain with them for years to come. His memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
