Susan "Sue" Lee Claseman

Susan Claseman, affectionately known as Sue to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026.

Sue was born on April 3, 1948, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Richard and Leona (Soderquist) Morgan. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, bright smile, and quick wit—qualities that brought joy and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Sue dedicated more than 20 years of her life working at Belk, where she was known for her strong work ethic and friendly nature, leaving a lasting impression on both colleagues and customers. Outside of work, she found great joy in gardening, nurturing beauty and life in everything she touched.

A devoted Catholic, Sue was a faithful member of St. Columba Church in Dothan.

She is survived by her children, Shaun (Diane) Claseman of Gold Canyon, Arizona, and Stephanie (Cale) Madden of Panama City Beach, Florida; her sisters, Connie, Jeanne, and Patricia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a future date.
