Snellgrove D. Lloyd

Rev. Lloyd D. Snellgrove, 86, a resident of Geneva passed away Monday December 22, 2014 at Wiregrass Hospital.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Shirley Hatcher officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 9-10:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home.

Rev. Snellgrove was born December 4, 1928 in Houston County and lived his early life in Ardilla. He moved to Dothan where he served as a pastor and founded Midland City Community Church where he served for over 20 years. Rev. Snellgrove was preceded in death by his son Ronnie Dale Snellgrove, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Survivors include his son Lloyd Snellgrove; his daughter Brenda Ray Henderson; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
