Sheron "Sherry" Ann Rotenberry

June 24, 1945 — October 1, 2025

Mrs. Sheron Ann Rotenberry, 80, beloved wife, devoted mother of 5 children, and grandmother of 19 grandchildren, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at home, on October 1, 2025 after an extended illness.

Sheron was born to the late “Jim” and Louise Stallard, in Kimball, West Virginia, along with brothers Howard and Larry. She graduated from Welch High School and married her high school sweetheart, Rick Rotenberry. After Rick’s military service ended, the couple returned to Princeton, West Virginia with their family and attended the First United Methodist Church.

In 1991 the couple and their family relocated to Dothan, Alabama while Rick was working for GTE and still reside in the area. Sheron especially loved all of her grandchildren and was a regular contributor to many charities as well as children’s charities.

Sheron was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Louis and Margaret Louise Stallard, Father and Mother-in-law Mason and Patricia Rotenberry, and infant son of the couple, Mark Rotenberry. She leaves behind a loving and very devoted husband of 60 plus years, Rick Rotenberry and children, Ann-Margaret Brammer (Tim), Kristin Andrews (Todd), Janet Carroll, and Stephen Rotenberry (Ashley). She also leaves 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Sheron was a lifelong Christian and deeply loved her family and the Lord Jesus Christ. She will be forever missed and loved.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11am in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Plummer officiating.
