Ruby Nell Johnson

After fighting a good fight, Ruby Nell Kelley-Johnson, 62, of 1211 Robbins St, Dothan, AL, went home to be with her Lord on August 14, 2010.

A Homegoing Celebration will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Greater Deliverance Outreach Ministries, 1000 Montana St., Dothan, with Apostle Bobby Frison officiating. Interment will follow in Little Elam Cemetery, Coffee Springs, AL with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
rnShe was born December 18, 1947, in Geneva County, Alabama, the daughter of late Lonnie B. and Inez Kelley. She was the 11th of 15 siblings. Mrs. Johnson graduated from Geneva County Training School in 1967. She worked in nursing and childcare for many years and was employed by Wesley Manor Nursing Home and Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Johnson served many years in ministry and was an Evangelist at Greater Deliverance Outreach Ministries.She is survived by her daughters Rachel Ford, Pleshette Powell, and Mary Johnson, all of Alabama; stepsons, John Johnson and Robert Johnson, both of Florida; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; 5 brothers, and 2 sisters. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
