Ruby Bright

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1-2 pm.

Ruby was born on July 6, 1943 in Abbeville, Alabama to the late Henry and Queenie Culver. She took great pride in her yard and her flower gardens, even receiving Yard of the Year Award. Ruby was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family dearly.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, David Culver, Sarah Cochran, and Albert Culver.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 58 years, Henry Bright, Sr.; her children, Henry (Kelly) Bright, Jr., Lisa (Rex) Craddock, and Alice (Brock) Cody; her 4 grandchildren, Crystal, Jeremy, Adrian, and Brock, Jr.; her 3 great-grandchildren, Allen Michael, Gabriel, and Emmanuel; her 2 great-great- grandchildren, Malachi and Adrianna; her 4 siblings, Florence (Arthur) Corbitt, Queenie (Jerry) Mason, John (Minnie) Culver, and Herbert (Alberta) Culver; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
