Roy Leonard Tuten

Roy Leonard Tuten, a resident of Dothan passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Noland Hospital. He was 67.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Tuten residence at 1403 Greenwood Dr. in Dothan. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Tuten was born December 25, 1942 in Perry, Florida, where he spent the early years of his life. He resided in Mountainair, New Mexico for 8 years prior to moving back to Dothan in 2007. He was employed with Southside Wal-Mart at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife Evelyn Tuten of Dothan; five sons, Fred Williams of Dothan, AL, Steven Williams of Daleville, AL, Thomas Tuten of Watertown, NY, Daniel Tuten of Atlanta, GA, Mark Tuten of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Diana DuFriend of Jackson, AL, Rebecca Leavins of Marianna, FL; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sara Cook, Judy Bethea, both of Perry, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
