Roy Junior Langford

Roy Junior Langford, a resident of Ozark, AL, passed away on December 13, 2022. He was 66 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home with Pastor James Devine and Pastor Dale Giles officiating. Burial will follow in Ewell Faith Community Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Roy was born on August 30, 1956 in Dale County, AL and resided in the Ewell Community most of his life. He worked at Enterprise Wholesale and Bryan-Holloway in the floor covering industry for 40 years until his retirement in 2015. Roy loved to fish and enjoyed fishing in the family pond, riding four-wheelers and meeting up with friends and talking about anything and everything. He loved country music, gospel and bluegrass music.

Survivors include his son, Ken Langford; grandchildren, Kaitlin Langford, Kenneth Strickland, Cameron Langford, Phillip Langford and Jessie Langford; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Dave (Kathy) Langford; sisters, Linda (Rickey) Devine, Diane (Jerry Averrett) Sanders, Barbara (Dale) Giles and Janie (Keith) Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
