Robert Pruitt

Robert Pruitt, a resident of Dothan passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at his residence. He was 56.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.Mr. Pruitt was born on July 31, 1953 in Houston County and lived in Dothan his entire life. He is a graduate of Dothan High School and was employed with American General for several years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife Shirley Ann Pruitt of Dothan; a son Kip Pruitt of Dothan; daughters, Dorothy Pruitt of Dothan, Shakella Warren of Dothan; 4 grandchildren, Quateria Warren, Shavares Alexander, Tavaresa Alexander, Lateria Warren; two sisters, Diane Pruitt, Beverly Jackson; three brothers, Dwight Pruitt, Frank Pruitt, Junior Pruitt; a host of Aunts and Uncles. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
