Phillip Allan Aldenderfer

Phillip Aldenderfer, passed away on April 7, 2026, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 48. Phillip was born on October 2, 1977, in Columbus, Ohio, the first child born to his mother and one of five children in the family. He spent his early years in Columbus before moving to Weaver, AL then later moved to Anniston, AL before settling in Ozark in 2009, where he would make his home for the rest of his life. From an early age, Phillip was known for his spirited nature, his practical, handy way of doing things, and the kindness that made him easy to love and hard to forget.

Phillip was a proud United States Army veteran, having served his country for eight years. After his military service, he worked for M-1 as an aviation mechanic. He was the kind of man who could fix what was broken, lend a hand without being asked, and bring a steady presence wherever he went.

One of Phillip’s great passions was motorcycles, and he found lasting friendship and purpose through the United States Veterans Motorcycle Club, which he joined in December of 2018. He loved the open road, the bond of brotherhood, and the sense of belonging that came from riding with others who shared his values. He also held close the men he considered brothers in the US Veterans Motorcycle Club Alabama Chapter, and that fellowship remained an important part of his life. His loyalty to his club brothers was deep and enduring, and he was proud to stand among them.

Phillip was a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jamie Aldenderfer; his son, Braden “Alex” Aldenderfer; his daughters, Destiny Aldenderfer (Jade Snider), and Brianna “BB” Aldenderfer (Marquis); and his grandchildren, Damien and Aila. He also leaves behind his parents, Phillip Braden and Tammy Braden; his brothers, Joshua Braden (Penny) and Robert Braden; his sisters, Felicia Brown (Mark), and Joanna Braden Deveney (Andrew). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eloise and Charles Braden; his grandmother, Rosalie Caldwell; and his great-grandparents, Marcella and Clyde Arlidge. He also now joins his USVMC brother David “Diamond Dave” Vitulski and his wife, Philomena.

A celebration of Phillip’s life will be held at 5:00pm Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club in Daleville, Alabama located at, 4241 Alabama 134 Daleville, 36322. The family will be receiving friends an hour prior at the USVMC. Military honors will be held at the Sunset Cemetery Military Pavillion following the service. Phillip will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.
