Peggy Ruth Raska

Peggy Raska passed away on June 25, 2026, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 64.

Peggy was born on August 22, 1961, in California to Kermit and Margie Boone. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her brothers, Kermit Boone, Ryan Boone, Roger Boone, and Randy Boone.

Peggy enjoyed cooking, spending time at home, and being with her family. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren and treasured every moment she shared with them. She will be remembered for her generous heart, strong spirit, and the love she gave to those around her. During her working years, Peggy enjoyed many different careers.

Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her son, Ronald Raska (Crystal); her daughters, Regina Raska (Chad), and Amanda Raska (John); her grandchildren, Savannah, Wyatt, Lexi, Isaac, Alijah, Markie, Jaydyn, Hunter, Jason, Casey Lynn, Malachi, Jeremiah, Joshua, and Makayla; and her great-grandchildren, Ava, Eve, and Gatlin. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Justin. Peggy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.

She will be remembered for her love of life, her devotion to her family, her caring nature, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at the Train Depot in Ashford.
