He shared an incredible 50-year journey with his wife, Donna Clark, building a life that was a beacon of dedication and affection. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Ryan Clark and Christina Clark Hendry, alongside her husband Wesley. Pat's role as a grandfather to Christyn Hall and Myles Clark was one of his most cherished. The light of his life shone brightly in his interactions with his grandchildren, whose achievements and milestones brought him immense pride.
Pat's sister Wanda Boyes and her husband Charlie, along with his brother, Mike Clark, and his wife Elaine, remember him as a pillar of strength and camaraderie. His faith journey was enriched by his participation in the Cursillo retreat and his leadership in hosting the Light of the World Small Group at his home. Pat's kindness extended beyond his church community as he received support in the Respite Program at First United Methodist Church, offering solace and support to those in need.
Pat's easy-going nature was a source of comfort to all who knew him. He never let worries cloud his sunny disposition and was known for his ability to get along with everyone he met. His love for dogs was unmatched, especially for his companion of 14 years, Izzie, who was a constant source of joy and friendship.
An outdoorsman at heart, Pat relished the opportunity to deer hunt with his son, Ryan, sharing with him not just a pastime but a bond that transcended generations. His adventurous spirit was balanced by his profound love for his family, whom he adored above all else.
Words such as faith-filled, adventurous, and loving only begin to describe a man like Pat. His legacy is one of generosity, compassion, and an ever-present smile that could light up a room. The Mass of Christian Burial will be a celebration of Pat's life and faith, conducted by Father Jim Dane at St. Columba Catholic Church Chapel on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:30 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories and support each other at Sunset Funeral Home on Thursday evening, October 9, 2025, from 5-7 pm. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to ACG Hospice, Emerald Coast Hospice, First United Methodist Church Respite Ministry for the care and concern shown to them during this difficult time.
