Norman M. Parker, 89, of Dallas, TX passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. A graveside service for Mr. Parker will be held on April 4, 2022 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Norman is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Annice White Parker; his children, Steve (Jean) Parker, Linda (Joe) Hoover, Tom (Krista) Parker, and David (Selene) Parker; his daughter-in-law, Corinne (Steve) Pandukht; grandchildren, Molly (J.P.) Guidici, Jenny (Cody) Gilreath, Katie (Kevin) Dickard, Shelby (Dalton) Baker, Jill (Dan) Hershman, Grace (Will) Guin, Sam Hoover, Emma (Andrew) Locklin, and Annie Parker. Norman was also blessed to meet and know his great-grandchildren including Abby and Jack Gilreath, Allie and Sadie Dickard, Riley and Ollie Baker, John, Charlie and Elizabeth Hershman, and Parker Guin.

Norman was born on September 19, 1932 in Tampa, FL as the youngest of four children to Howard and Cenus Pepper Parker. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings James Parker, Calvin Parker and Kathryn Hill. Norman served his country as a pilot in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, including a tour in the Vietnam War. While in the service, he received an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M. After retirement from the Air Force, he received a Master's degree from the University of Florida and worked as a CPA for many years. He was retired from Dallas Baptist University as an Associate Professor of accounting.

Norm was a devoted husband, a loving father, a beloved Papa, and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. He led and loved his family well with unwavering moral character. He was strong, humble, and full of humor. Papa will be greatly missed and always remembered and adored by his family.
