Melvin Hill

Melvin Hill of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 in a Birmingham hospital. He was 62.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11:00 am in Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. B.K. Marshall officiating.

Mr. Hill was born December 10, 1954 in Houston County and he lived in Dothan all of his life. Melvin attended Dothan City School and was veteran of the United States Army and served a tour in Germany. Melvin was employed in the construction industry for several years until his medical retirement. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Hill is survived by his brothers, Terry (Janice) Hill and Earnest (Brenda) Hill; and his sisters, Rosie Johnson, Betty (Alphonso) Tolbert and Coritha Esprit; his aunt, Mildred Livingston; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
