Marla Reynolds

Marla Reynolds, 56, a resident of Wicksburg, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Wednesday December 5, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bradley Rushing officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 pm until 8 pm.

Marla was born May 5, 1956 in Kankakee, Illinois and she resided the early years of her life there. She was a 1974 graduate of East Ridge High School and later received her Bachelor of Science in education from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Marla resided in Wicksburg for the past 30 years and was employed at Northside Methodist Academy for 22 years and later with Providence Christian School until she retired in May of 2012.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Reynolds, Wicksburg; her daughters, Drew Shaun Hubbard, Dothan, Kaitlin Jimmy King, Newnan, GA; two grandchildren, Caleb Hubbard and Carson Hubbard; her father, Lloyd Elston; her brother, Dennis Elston; her sister, Debbie Hurd; several nieces and nephews.
