Luchia was a man of simple pleasures who found joy in the work of his hands. He had a lifelong love for working on cars and tractors, a passion that led him to a fulfilling career with Northview Tractor Company. Outside of work, Luchia was known for his unique hobby of bushhogging peanuts, an interest that spoke to his deep roots in the agricultural community of Alabama.

Luchia is survived by his daughter, Freda Cheryl Nathan Jackson (Griffin O'Neal Jackson), and his grandchildren Carl Marcel (Sherise D.) Nathan, Jr., Cadao Vantreace Nathan, Ontario C. M. (Kasmira Lucas) Nathan, and Sabrevia Ny'ese Snell. He was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren who brought joy and vitality to his later years. HE IS SURVIVED BY A VERY SPECIAL BROTHER AND SISTER-IN-LAW, CHARLES AND EVELYN COCHRAN.

Luchia was preceded by his parents, Theopolis "Bud" and Willie Mae Skipper Snell; his daughter Lazina Paulette Snell, and his grandson Phillip Snell; his siblings, Othell Snell Anthony, Emma Mae McCloud, Earlean Dicks, Jeanette Ausby, Aritha Snell, David Snell, Marvette "Bobby" Snell, Samuel Snell, Robert Snell, Jerry Snell, Lugene Snell, and Theopolis Snell, Jr.

Luchia's legacy is not only in his bloodline but also in the countless lives he touched with his kindness and selflessness. His love for his family was boundless, and his dedication to his work was unwavering. Even in his final days, Luchia's spirit remained undimmed, a testament to his strength and resilience.

His loss will be felt deeply by his family, his friends, and his community. Yet, the memories of his love, his laughter, and his life will continue to inspire and uplift those he left behind. Luchia Snell's story is one of love, hard work, and dedication, a story that will be cherished and remembered with admiration and affection.
