Lucas "Luke" Livingston Fisher

Lucas Fisher, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 26, 2025, in Clermont, Florida, at the age of 45. Born on November 16, 1979, in North Carolina, Lucas was a man of intelligence, adventure, and kindness, whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew him.

Lucas grew up with an insatiable curiosity and a love for exploration that was evident from his early years. His high school graduation in England in 1998 marked the beginning of a journey filled with academic achievements and worldly adventures. Lucas furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, followed by a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Florida. His passion for learning was matched by his spirit of adventure, leading him to obtain his helicopter pilot's license.

Professionally, Lucas dedicated himself to the field of pharmacy, working as a pharmacist at Walgreens. His work was more than a job; it was a means of caring for his community, ensuring that those he served had access to the medications and support they needed.

Outside of work, Lucas was a man of diverse interests and hobbies. He was a proud Comic-con goer, reveling in the camaraderie and excitement of the convention scene. His love for science fiction was not just a pastime but a lens through which he viewed the potential of the future.

Lucas cherished the time spent traveling the world, a passion he inherited from his youthful adventures. He enjoyed watching cooking shows, savoring the culinary arts both on the screen and on his plate. His laid-back demeanor made every meal a relaxed and pleasurable experience, whether he was dining alone or with loved ones.

He was a cherished son to his parents, Jack Fisher and Janice Livingston, and a loving brother to Tom Fisher (Rachel), and James Wade Fisher (Emi). Lucas took great delight in his role as an uncle to Ava Jane, Jack, Ty, and Vivian Fisher.

Lucas' life was a tapestry woven with the threads of kindness, intelligence, and adventure. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his generous heart, and his ability to inspire others to seek joy in the journey of life.
