Larry Crawford, a resident of Slocomb, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at a local hospital. He was 74 years old.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00pm EST on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel from 4:00pm-6:00pm.

Larry was born on January 23, 1948 in Valdosta, GA and lived his early years there. He was a graduate of Georgia Christian High School. In 1979, he moved to Dothan and owned CS & S Crawford Sales and Services. Later, he was employed with State Farm and Cotton States as an insurance adjuster until his retirement in 2000. Larry was an avid outdoorsman who loved nothing better than to be on the lake fishing for the "Big One." He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Enon Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Crawford and Marjorie Crawford, and his brother, Ricky Crawford.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Crawford; son, Andy (Stephanie) Crawford; daughter, Becky (Jeffery) Jackson; his grandchildren, Abbie Jackson, Payton Jackson, Emma Crawford and Bryson Stubbs; and his sister, Barbara Ann Nichols.
