Kaliere Azayne Pitts

Kaliere Azayne Pitts, the beloved son of Shania Lee, passed away on October 31, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 10 months. He was born on December 10, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama.

In his short time on earth, Kaliere brought immense joy and love to his family. His bright smile and cheerful spirit filled their days with happiness and laughter. Though small in years, the love he inspired will remain a lasting part of their lives.

He is survived by his loving Mother, Shania Lee; his sisters, Khyler & Kaelyn Pitts; his grandparents, Arthur Pitts, Shameka Myhand, Tony Anglin & Jennifer McCray; his aunts & uncles, Malik & Aaliyah Baker, Destiny Pitts, Kamryn Whatley, Theondra Myhand, Felicity Worthy, Arianna & Tyreeka Bryant, Katidra Jackson & Anastasia Curlee(Fontez); his god-mothers, Jakilya Thornton & Titanna McCray(Laderreck). He also had a host of loving cousins & friends. Each of them shared a memory with Kaliere & will forever hold his memory close.

Kaliere’s time here was brief, but his impact was profound. His memory will continue to bring comfort & remind those who loved him of the joy he brought into their lives.

A celebration of Kaliere’s life will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, November 14,2025 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the funeral home.
