Juanita Alice (Alley) Roden

Juanita Alice Roden, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her home. She was 79 years old.

Graveside services will be held 10 am on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to Wiregrass Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Dothan, AL 36302.

Juanita was born on August 15, 1942 to the late Winfield and Marguerite Alley in Lubec, Maine. In 1966, she and her husband, Wayne, moved to Alabama to raise their family. Juanita loved serving as a bus aid for special needs students in the Dothan City School District for several years. In her pastime, she enjoyed going RV camping at Lake Eufaula with her family and reading a good book.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband of 58 years, Wayne Roden.

Juanita is survived by her children, Brandi (Bill) Dean, Margo Clay, and Wayne (Karyl) Roden; her five grandchildren; her one great-grandchild; her brother, Donnie (Judi) Alley; and extended family and friends.
