Joseph "Joe" Dean McLean

Joseph Dean McLean, age 79, originally from Griffin, GA, passed peacefully, January 13, 2026 in Dothan, AL.

Joe is survived by a loving family including Brant McLean, his son living in Atlanta, GA, brother, William E. McLean, his grandchildren, Mayellen B. Dunagan and Jackson C. Dunagan, and his great-grandchild, Roseanna. E. Willis.

Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan D. McLean.

Joe was a gentleman who never met a stranger; always wearing a charismatic smile and armed with a humorous attitude. Ever charming, Joe was well loved in his home in Enterprise, AL. Joe was professionally involved with his LaGrange College fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, in the mid to late 1960’s moving on to a long successful career in the car rental business. He was the original franchise owner of the Augusta, GA Budget Rent A Car business where he built the facility at Bush Field. Everyone in his final home, Serenity Assisted Living in Enterprise, AL will greatly miss daily upbeat attitude and infectious laughter.
