Joseph James Beyers, IV, known to his family and friends as Joe, passed away on June 17, 2026, in Daleville, Alabama, at the age of 61.

Joe was born on June 15, 1965, and lived a life filled with service, family, and many memories that will be cherished by those who knew and loved him. He was a man with a straightforward personality, a good sense of humor, and a way of making people feel comfortable just by being around him. Joe was someone who enjoyed the simple things in life, whether it was sharing stories, spending time with family, or having a good conversation with friends.

Joe proudly served in the United States Army. His time in the military was an important part of his life, and he often shared stories and memories from his time serving. Those experiences stayed with him throughout his life and were a reflection of his dedication, strength, and willingness to serve his country.

Outside of his service and family, Joe enjoyed the things that brought him peace and happiness. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the quiet moments spent near the water. He also enjoyed NASCAR and loved being able to talk about the things that interested him. Joe will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph James Beyers, III; his mother, Bobbie Weimort; his brother, Greg Davisson; his nephew, Aaron Hendrickson; and his stepfather, Donnie Weimort.
