Jerry Ray Thomas, Ii

Jerry Ray Thomas II, a resident of Dothan, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was 36 years old.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home chapel with Elder Michael Hardaway officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time.

Jerry was born on November 21, 1986 in Dothan, Al. He was a graduate of Northview High School where he was a star athlete in both baseball and football. Jerry had a big heart who loved to help others. This love was shown through his work and dedication at Pathway, Inc. for almost 12 years as a supervisor. Jerry loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a passionate football fan and would cheer on the Miami Hurricanes every game, win or lose.

Jerry was preceded in death by his children, Marcellus Thomas, Makayla Thomas, and Jeremiah Thomas.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Marrisa Thomas; his children, Ania and Kai Thomas; his parents, Jerry and Mary Thomas; his siblings, Teresa Jones, LaShondra (James) Ford, Piairre Henderson, Tabri Marshall, and Alystia Tobie; and his nieces and nephews, Vyterra, Javarus, Liesha, Nichelle, Keoni, and Kodie; and his mother-in-law, Annette Tobie.
