Jay Allen Jacobs, 49, of Dothan passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at his residence.
rnServices will be held 4 pm Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends following the service in the reception center. The family requests the omission of flowers. rnJay was born March 13, 1963 in Indianapolis, IN and lived the early part of his life in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. He attended the University of Akron where he received his bachelor’s degree. Jay moved to Dothan in 1987 where he resided the past 25 years. Jay was preceded in death by his mother, Lynne Ann Jacobs. rnSurvivors include his wife Nena Jacobs of Dothan; children, Kaleb and Aspen Rose Jacobs; step-children, Travis, Thomas & Andrea; a grandchild Aiden Michael Bradeen; his father and step mother, Jack and Monie Jacobs; his brother Jeffery Jacobs; his sister Jennifer Jacobs; several nieces and nephews. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
