James Albert Pearson

James Albert Pearson, Sr., 69, a resident of Dothan passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his residence.

Military Honors will be rendered at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Mr. Pearson was born June 6, 1946 in Summerville, SC and spent the early part of his life there. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was employed with Perdue as a truck driver for several years until his retirement in 2015. He logged nearly 3 million miles of safe driving working with Perdue.

Survivors include his wife Pamela Pearson; son, James Albert Pearson, Jr.; daughter, Tamara Desiree Rodgers; grandchildren, Payton Cole Dabney, Raylan James Pearson, Aydan Justice Pearson, Anthony Rodgers, Zachary Rodgers and Cohen Rodgers; brother, William Pearson; sister, Corrie Howell; several nieces and nephews.
