Herbert F. (Herb) Reitmeyer

Herbert (Herb) F. Reitmeyer, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2021, at his home in Dothan, AL.

Herb was born January 5, 1939, to Herbert and Myrtle Reitmeyer in Vincennes, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patty Hoke.

Herb is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sue Reitmeyer; four children, Greg (Sherri) Reitmeyer, Jana (Mike) Cox, Sherri (Zane) Boucher and Angie (Kirke) Adams; three stepchildren, Keith (Nicole) Lindsey, Chris Lindsey and Tammi (Michael) Aid; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and his brother, Jerry (Connie) Reitmeyer.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 14th at Sunset Memorial Park in Dothan, AL. Visitation will be at 2:00 pm and the service will be at 3:00 pm. All friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wiregrass Food Bank in Dothan or St. Jude's Hospital.
