Gloria Wilkinson

Gloria J. Peterson Wilkinson, 68, of Dothan passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 5 pm Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Free officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 4-5 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Gloria was born January 14, 1945 in Henry County and lived the early part of her life in Headland. Gloria was employed at Rolen's Bakery for 46 years and has resided in Dothan for the past 48 years. She was a member of Tolbert Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and a brother.

Survivors include her sister, Judy Peterson, her brother, Kenneth Peterson, Gloria was their caretaker; her brothers and sisters, Mary Ann Rickey Owens, Midland City, Margie Marvin Peters, Rehobeth, Byrd Peterson, Dothan, Wayne Barbara Peterson, Dothan, Len Marie Peterson, Dothan, Billy Peterson, Abbeville, Pete Melinda Peterson, Abbeville, Tommy Joe Peterson, Dothan; her special K-9 companions, Rex and Bo-Bo; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.
