Gloria Jean Malosh

April 29, 1946 — July 26, 2025

Gloria Jean Malosh, affectionately known as Jenny to her friends and loved ones, passed away surrounded by her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and joy. Born on April 29, 1946 in the quaint town of Brunswick, Maryland, Jenny was a beacon of gentle warmth throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met.

Jenny 's journey was filled with love, from her early days in Mt. Rainer, Maryland, to the beautiful moments she shared with her adoring husband, Harry Malosh. Together, they created a family and a home that was a haven of happiness and care. Jenny was a devoted mother to her children, David Martin McGonegal and his wife Shannon, Thomas Rawson McGonegal and his wife Yupin, William Daniel McGonegal and his fiancé Joyce, and her daughter Catherine Jean Harp and husband Donald. She was also a cherished grandmother to David Scott McGonegal, Haley Ann-Marie Easterling, Sarah Renee McGonegal, Joshua Thomas-Martin McGonegal, Richard Nopparat McGonegal, Henry Thomas McGonegal, Jasmine Kai Herwerden and Merlin Raymond Farnham and her treasured great granddaughter Paisley Elizabeth-Rae Easterling. She is also survived by her nephews Steven McGonegal, Patrick Garrott, Nicholas Garrott and Andrew Garrott and multiple cousins. Her love for her family was immeasurable and was the cornerstone of her life.

Although Jenny was preceded in death by her father Howard Martin Garrott, mother Mary Hazel Garrott and brothers, Marty and Michael Garrott, their memories remained a treasured part of her life story. Her family was her world, and she was the heart of it, always ensuring that love was the main ingredient in every endeavor.

Professionally, Jenny was a dedicated registered nurse, and her career was marked by her involvement in various associations, reflecting her commitment to service and community. However, it was her personal interests and hobbies that truly defined her. Jenny had a passion for decorating her home for Christmas, creating a festive atmosphere that brought joy to all who entered. The melodies of Elvis Presley's music often filled her home, a testament to her love for the King of Rock and Roll.

Traveling and going on cruises with her husband were among Jenny 's favorite activities, as they explored the world together, making memories that would last a lifetime. After moving to Panama City Beach, Jenny continued to embrace life with Harry, their adventures becoming cherished chapters in their love story.

Jenny's love for her canine companions, Darlin and Duke, was well known. They were more than pets; they were members of her family, recipients of her boundless affection and care.

As Jenny 's chapter on earth closes, her story continues in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her memory will be cherished, her love will continue to inspire, and her gentle presence will always be felt. Gloria Jean Malosh's life was a testament to the beauty of a kind heart, and she will be remembered with love and affection by all.
