George Curtiss

George Curtiss, a resident of Enterprise, AL passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at his residence. He was 68.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 2855 Ross Clark Cir, Dothan, AL, 36301.

Mr. Curtiss was born on March 26, 1940 in Chicago, IL and lived there for 40 years. He was employed with the Skokie Police Department and later served as the Chief of Police in Northbrook, IL. He moved to the Wiregrass area in 2003 and resided in Enterprise for the last 2 years.

Survivors include his wife Jean L. Curtiss of Enterprise, AL; sons, George D. Curtiss Tammy of Dothan, AL, Michael A. Curtiss Katina of Texas; 5 grandchildren, Ariana, Jackie, Jason, Julia, Abby; a sister Colleen Cassetty of Nashville, TN.
