Gary Vincent Selby

Gary Vincent Selby, born June 10, 1978, in Winchester, Virginia, passed away on September 1, 2026, in Dothan, Alabama.

He is survived by his daughters, Breanne Pugh and Taylor Selby; his two grandchildren; his mother, Sherry Goerlich; and his brothers, Ronald Selby (Genea Lipome) and Terry Selby (Brooke).

Gary spent much of his life working in construction. He was a hardworking and dependable man who took pride in doing a job right. He was never afraid of hard work or a challenge and was someone others could count on.

Outside of work, Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He also loved football and enjoyed the time spent with family and friends. He had a wild one spirit and a personality that made him memorable to those around him. Gary was genuine, straightforward, and always true to himself.

Gary will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Though he is no longer with them, the memories he made and the love he gave will remain with those who knew and loved him.
