Estelle Smith

Estelle Florence Smith, of Dothan went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at her home.  She was 85.

The family will receive family and friends at Sunset Memorial Park on Tuesday, January 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL, on Wednesday, January 9, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Curtis and Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Baton Rouge, LA on May 23, 1927.  She was a long-time resident of Conyers, GA, and was an active member of Rockdale Baptist Church.  After her retirement, she committed many hours to volunteer work and received numerous awards for her service.

Her survivors include a son, Marshall Smith Debbie of Dothan, AL; two grandsons Christopher Smith and Cory Smith, both of Birmingham, and a granddaughter, Carrie Smith, of Birmingham.
