Christina “Christie” Hall passed into the presence of the Lord on July 9, 2026 in Dothan, Alabama.
Christie was known for her love of her dogs, painting and anything of art. She had a very serious and whimsical spirit. She spent her 40 year career in nursing assisting others and will be remembered for her caring heart and pursuit of providing care for others.
Christie is proceeded in death by her loving husband Robert B Hall.
Parents George and Hilda Heider, sister Carol Rodgers. Sons Rey Gustason and Lee Hall. She leaves behind Brothers George Heider, John Heider, “Pam” of Smith Mountain Lake Virginia, Daughter Daphne Marden, “John” of Dothan Alabama and their children Zachary Marden, “Megan” and their sons Liam Marden and JP Marden of Dothan Alabama, and their daughter Amanda Linton, “Ryan” and their daughters Bella McNelley and Scarlett Hatcher of Opelika Alabama. Son Allen Gustason of San Antonio Texas. Widow to Rey Gustason, Stephanie of Chipley Florida and their children Somer Davis, “Chad” and their children Cooper and Barrett of Chipley Florida, son Noah Gustason, “Skyler” and their sons Beau and Baker of Panama City Florida.
Son R. Bruce Hall “Anne” of Dothan Alabama and their children Meredith Rich, “Jimmy of Dothan Alabama , Mason Hall of Huntsville Alabama, and Madeline Barfield, “James” and her two boys Bennett and JT of Gainesville Florida , Brian Wilson and his children Caleb and Riley of Dothan Alabama, Kelley Rase and her child Cooper of Dothan Alabama. Granddaughters Caroline Keating. “Cal” and her daughter Claire of Santa Monica California, Courtney Hammons, “Jonathan” and her daughter Charlotte of Saraland Alabama. Sister-in-law Harriet Diamond, “Chip” of Atlanta Georgia,
And very special friends whom she loved dearly, Charlie and Harri Anne Smith of Slocomb Alabama, and longtime friend whom she adored Fay Ferrell.
While honoring Christie’s wishes, a small graveside service for immediate family will be held as Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. If you would like to honor Christie’s memory, please donate to your local animal shelter.
