Camille's life was shared with her beloved husband, Jim Hughes, whom she married in 1988. Together, they built a life rich in love and companionship, facing the challenges and celebrating the joys that came with military life. As a devoted military wife, Camille was the cornerstone of her family, providing unwavering support as they moved from place to place. Her adaptability and strength were unmatched, and she thrived in every new environment, making friends and leaving a lasting impact wherever she went.
Throughout her life, Camille worked in various roles, each reflecting her versatile skill set and dedication. She contributed her talents to the veterinary clinic, retail management, and most notably, banking and finance. Her work ethic and friendly demeanor made her a cherished colleague and a mentor to many. Camille's involvement in associations and community groups further exemplified her commitment to service and her desire to make a difference.
Camille's two children, son James Hughes and daughter Shawna McIntosh, along with Shawna's husband Bryan, were the pride and joy of her life. She instilled in them the values of love, kindness, and perseverance. Camille's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Melody and Brianna, who were the light of her life. Her playful spirit and loving nature made her the most wonderful grandmother, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
When it came to interests, Camille had a lifelong passion for animals and travel. Her love for animals was evident to all who knew her, as she cared for her pets with the same tenderness and affection she showed to her family.

She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.
