Britteny Nicole Wesley

May 2, 1989 — May 9, 2025

Brittney Nicole Wesley, affectionately known as Britteny to her friends and family, brought a gentle and kind presence into this world on May 2nd, 1989, in Austell, Georgia. Sadly, after a courageous battle, Britteny departed from this life on May 9th, 2025, in Dothan, Alabama. Her grace and resilience throughout her life and illness were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Britteny was a proud graduate in 2008 of Hiram High School in Hiram, Georgia, where she participated in track and field and was known for her quiet determination and unique way of confidently doing things her own way. After completing her education, she dedicated herself to her role at Lowe's Distribution Center, where her work ethic and kind nature made her a valued team member and a friend to many.

In her personal life, Britteny was a woman of simple pleasures. She found joy in the quiet moments, whether it was watching her favorite TV shows, heading out to the movies, or dressing up in her signature preppy style. Despite her reserved nature, Britteny had a profound impact on those around her. Her kind-heartedness and the subtle way she expressed her care and affection will be deeply missed by all.

Britteny's family was the cornerstone of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her mother, Lisa Wesley; her father, Bill Wesley and step-mother Katrina; her beloved daughter, Taylor German; her brother, Trey Wesley; and her step-siblings, Ashley, Candace, Sean, and Aaron. She also leaves behind her grandmothers, Betty Bailey and step-grandmother Eloise McGee. Her extended family, including her uncles Jeffrey, Donnie, Kevin, and Timothy, and her aunts Charise, Willa Mae, Faye, Michelle, and Traci, along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews that will forever hold Britteny in their hearts. Britteny was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charlie Bailey, aunt, Valarie Bailey, and grandparents, William Wesley, Sr. and Albertha Wesley.

The words that best describe Britteny are kindness, grace, and quiet strength. She navigated life's challenges with a soft-spoken courage that drew people to her. Her ability to listen, truly listen, made her a confidante and friend to many. Britteny's life may have been brief, but the impression she left on this world was significant and will be felt for generations to come.

As we mourn her passing, we also take solace in knowing that Britteny's spirit lives on through her daughter, Taylor, and the many lives she touched with her gentle soul. We will carry her memory with us, finding comfort in the love she gave and the time we spent with her. Britteny's journey on this earth was a testament to the enduring power of kindness and the quiet strength that lies within us all.
