Breanne Ashton Baxley, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at a local hospital. She was 31 years old.
A celebration of Breanne's life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 27, 2023 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Clark and Earl Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm.
Breanne was born on December 15, 1991 in Westerville, Ohio, but lived the early years of her life in Beaufort, SC. Her family moved to Dothan in 1997. Breanne loved music, but she especially loved Disney music. She traveled quite extensively with her parents, going to the beach and to Europe, but one of her favorite trips was a girls' trip with her mother, Gina, to New York City to see the play, Cinderella. Breanne also loved the outdoors, riding on a motorcycle, tubing with her family on Lake Seminole, riding her bike, and zip lining were among some of her favorite activities. Eating Pringles or a good pizza while watching a Disney movie with family or friends was one of the things she really enjoyed. She loved the fall of the year, because she looked forward to Breanne's Boo Bash and it meant she could dress up as her favorite Disney Characters. Breanne was so loved and will be missed terribly by her friends at Dothan Leisure Services Therapeutic Division.
Breanne was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Marie Baxley and Loretta Chiappi, by her great grandparents, Lula Wiley and Lilla Pearl Baxley, Frank Chiappi Sr., and by her uncle, Toby Baxley.
Survivors include her parents, James "Todd" and Gina Baxley; her brother, Coleman Baxley; her grandparents, Jerry and Sheila Baxley, Patricia and Dan Shields, David Stewart, and Frank Chiappi II; her aunts and uncles, Angela and Verne Benson, Jennifer and Ray Williamson, and Kevin and Cyndi Baxley; several cousins; and by her special friend, Adam Irvin.
