Braylon Antoine Maddox, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, Georgia. He was 17 years old.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 3, 2022 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glover officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.
Braylon was born on October 9, 2005 in Dothan, AL to Patrick Maddox and Elise Bastien. He was a student at Dothan High School and dual enrolled. After graduation, Braylon wanted to pursue a career as a psychologist. Braylon enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games, going to the gym with his dad and visiting the beach. Braylon was the most giving and selfless person. He was a hero by being an organ donor and was able to save four lives. Braylon's legacy will forever live on. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary Bastien and Mary Palmer Walker; and Aunt Susan Holster.
Braylon leaves to cherish his memories by his parents, Patrick Maddox and Elise Bastien; grandparents, Mike and Tonja Bastien, Slocomb, Al., Clara Duboise, Dothan, Al., Dan and Krista Will Richards, Havelock, North Carolina and Stanley Maddox, Newton, Al; aunt, Samantha Ramalho, Canton, Georgia; uncles, Michael Palmer, Dothan, Al., Devon Moore, Dothan, Al., Micah McGowan, Malvern, Al., Norman Holster, Newton, Al., Darren (Uncle Fish) Warren (Sonya), Napier Fields, Al., Kevin Chatman (Uncle Coonie) and Trey Alford (Jessica), Stonecrest, Georgia; his k9 companions, CoCo and Mojo; and a host of cousins and friends.
