Bogart Neely Nordman

November 24, 1983 — December 27, 2023

Newton

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Bogart "Bo" N. Nordman, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend. Bo was born in Dale County, Alabama, on November 24, 1983, and left us too soon on December 27, 2023, in Newton, Alabama. His life was a testament to kindness, skill, and a gentle spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him.

Bo grew up in the heart of Dale County, where his character was shaped by the love of his family and the community around him. He met the love of his life, Jennifer, and together they built a beautiful family, celebrating 15 years of marriage. Bo was a devoted father to his children, Brian, Zaiden, and Isabella, who were the center of his universe. His bond with his son Brian was particularly special, so much so that it was rare to see one without the other. Bo's siblings, Keegan and Seth Nordman, and sisters, Rachel Rabon and Cassandra Nordman, will miss his presence profoundly, as will his many nieces and nephews who adored their uncle.

Bo's professional life was marked by his exceptional talent as a mechanic. He took great pride in his work at Action GMC, where he was not only respected for his skills but also for his dependable and trustworthy nature. Bo's passion for working on vehicles was more than just a job; it was a calling that he pursued with dedication and joy.

Those who knew Bo will remember his kind-heartedness and his easygoing demeanor. He was the sort of person who made friends easily and maintained those friendships with the same effortlessness that defined his approach to life. He was the kind of man who would offer help before it was asked for, a trait that made him invaluable to those around him.

Bo was a man of many interests, but above all, he loved his family. He was the kind of father who would drop everything to spend time with his children, whether that meant working on a car together or simply enjoying each other's company. His gentle approach to life and his ability to fix anything that was broken earned him the loving title of the family's "handyman."

In remembering Bo, we are reminded of the words of Helen Keller: "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Bo's love, his laughter, and his kindness have indeed become a part of us, a part that we will hold dear forever.

As we reflect on Bo's life, we are grateful for the time we had with him, for the memories we created, and for the impact he had on our lives. His departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit remains a beacon of light for all who knew him.
